Speed ( Wheel, Camshaft, Crankshaft )
A digital hall effect sensor that can be used with the speed sensor inputs on "standalone" ECU's. Suitable also for camshaft triggering.
The sensor is of the proximity type, and normally works fine with an existing ABS trigger ring or other metal toothed trigger wheel or ring somewhere in the drive train.
Typical applications.
- wheel speed sensor
- camshaft position sensor
- crankshaft position sensor.
- gear speed sensor
Features:
Senses ferrous target
Digital sinking current output (open collector), pull up resistor required
Excellent low speed output, amplitude not dependent on RPM
Max frequency over 100kHz
EMI resistant
Reverse polarity protection
Specifications:
Supply voltage 4.5-24VDC
Supply current typical 10mA
Operating temperature -40 to 150 degC
Optional connector and pull up resistor.
